Go to mappy website to calculate your itineraryPujo – Midi Pyrenees - A magnificent region providing a refreshing alternative to other undiscovered areas of France.  From the steep wooded gorges and the medieval bastide villages of the Northern Tarn to the breathtaking foothills of the Pyrenees this is a land waiting to be explored.  From traditional mountain villages in the South bordering Spain, to a more provincial ambience further North in the countryside.  Visitors never cease to be amazed by the beauty and tranquility of the countryside and the sophistication and architecture provided by such cities as Toulouse and Pau.

Walkers love the mountain villages bordering Spain.  Further North the beautiful landscape is often called the “Hidden Dordogne”.  Spring arrives six weeks earlier than the South of England and you can still comfortably swim outside until mid October.

We are five minutes from Vic en Bigorre where there is a selection of shops, bars and restaurants as well as a large local market each Saturday selling all the gastronomic delights of the season.  There is also a swimming pool with flumes, a cinema and festivals throughout the year.

We are in a prime location with easy access from the UK by low cost flights from London Stanstead to Pau; Bristol, Luton and Gatwick to Toulouse, Bourdeaux and Biarritz; Heathrow to Tarbes.  You can also travel by T.V.G from Paris in just over 5 hours and by road from the Channel Tunnel.  We are just 18km from Tarbes, the motorway, the train station (T.G.V.) and a golf course, 50 minutes from Pau (Rynair), 1hr 30 from Spain and the ski slopes, 1hr 45 from Biarritz and the Atlantic, 2hr from Toulouse (Flybe), 3hr 30 from the Mediterranean, 40 mins from Lourdes.
