  Terms and Conditions 

1.                  All gites are hired on the basis that the accommodation hired is for holiday use only and that no rights to remain in the accommodation exist after the specified holiday period by the holidaymaker or any person accompanying him/her on holiday.

2.                  All accommodation must be kept and left in a clean and tidy state and all furniture returned to the place in which it was found on entry.

3.                  A 25% deposit is required before a booking can be confirmed and is non refundable in the event of a cancellation.  You are therefore advised to take out travel insurance with a cancellation clause, which may enable you to recover such non-refundable deposits.

4.                  In the event of cancellation of any holiday where the full charge has been paid, the owners will endeavour to secure another hiring of the property for the same period and for the same charge and if successful will only charge £50 cancellation fee.  However, the owners shall not be liable at the suit of any hirer of accommodation on the grounds that the owners have not used their best endeavours or for any other reason.  You are therefore once again advised to take out travel insurance with a cancellation clause, which may enable you to recover such losses.

5.                  The hirer shall be responsible for any breakage or damage to the property or its contents.

6.                  There is a £50 security deposit in case of damage to the property or its contents.  This is refundable at he end of the rental period provided that no damage has occurred and that the property is left in a clean and tidy condition.

7.                  The owners reserve the right to refuse to honour future bookings from hirers who leave the property in an unreasonable condition.

8.                  Prices include bedding, bed linen and pillows, towels, electricity water and gas.

9.                  Rental periods are from 4.00 p. m. on the day of arrival to 10.30 a. m. on the day of departure.

10.              The total number of guests staying at the property may not exceed the number of sleeping places specified in the rental literature.

11.              The hirer signing the booking contract is named person responsible for the behaviour of all guests in his/her party.

12.              All properties are non-smoking

13.              Pets may be welcome but only with prior agreement in writing with the owners.

14.              Hirers of accommodation should be aware that the owners must have reasonable access to the premises in order to undertake any necessary maintenance.

15.              If due to any occurrence beyond the owners control the accommodation is not available as booked, the owners will refund the deposit, but be under no further liability towards the hirer.  The owners will use their best endeavours to find alternative accommodation, but shall not be liable at the suit of any hirer for failure to do so, or for any other reason.

16.              Should any problem occur with the property, the hirer must immediately (within 24 hours) notify the owners. The hirer should allow the owners reasonable time to remedy the problem.

17.              After full payment has been received and at least 14 days prior to the arrival date the owners will provide the hirer with an arrival package including any additional information and driving directions.
